Giants made it, without any star players on the team this season. I am luck to be able to witness the opening day of the series, well, I did not see the game. Just to be there to soak up the atmosphere. I may even luck enough to celebrate the win if it is a sweep. I am going back to Taipei on 11/4. The most memorable world series was the 1989, Giants vs A's in Oakland when the 10/17 Loma Prieta earthquake hit on during the game. I was at work, ready to leave for home.
The game one just finished, Giants won, 11-7.

Met up with Holly, Eddy and Grant for a walk around Lake Lagunitas in Marin County

Ha Ha, I got too involved in Facebook lately that I almost forgot about this place. I spent 2 half days shooting in Alviso, CA. This time I brought my bicycle with me so I can venture out further into the Bay. There used to be salt ponds so there are miles of levees one can walk or bike on. There was an old abandoned town in the middle of the marsh called Drawbridge, My friend Rich turned me on to the idea to take photos of them. To reach the town one must walk the railroad track and the placed is closed off to public. I was chicken out to go out there so I took few pictures from distance. Major part of the run down buildings are in the other side of the railroad track so it is hard to see.
