 Have Fun with Veg, again. Sunday is produce market day in our neighborhood, I get my supply of vegetables there. The same time support small local farmers. Since I don't take my camera and go out shooting during the shelter-in-place days, might as well to have some fun at home. There are more follow this link .

United States America has a new president, the 46th President Joe Biden, and vise-president Kalama Harris. Ever since the election on 11/3, we had witness never before of the break down of the democracy.  Today the dust all settled and lets move on. Too many issues the president has to deal with and its not an easy job for President Biden.

 Everyone was glad that 2020 is finally over, anticipating a quit and an easy year to come. Only 6 days into the year 2021, 6 DAYS ! Guess what, a riot started at the Capital. All indications pointed to president Trump had incited the violence. President Trump still have 10 days in the office, fearing he will do more damages to the country, an effort to remove him from the position ASAP. We will see how this developing in the next few days.

 While we are on photography subject, Moffett Air Show. Goes back 20-30 years when I was working at Intel, my group had a military nut with the same name as I. We started going to every air shows in the greater Bay Area every year. We enjoy to see all the military planes and some even allowed people to go onboard the plane for a closer experience. I have many photos I took to prove. Now forward to 3-4 years ago. Most of the air show were no longer here except once a year, the Collins Foundation will come to Moffett Field for a week, Its noy much of an air show but actually take flight in B-17, B-24, B-25 and P-51. It costs $450 donation to let you take a 30 minutes flight of your choice. I am always fascinated with WWII bombers, I can't let this opportunity to pass. So for two years, once on B-17, and once on B-24.

October 2019, A tragic news came that the B-17  909 had crashed with passengers onboard. Many killed and injured. A fire after the crash had destroyed the plane, I will put the photo I took of the plane as a tribute to the man and machine on 909

 Ellen asked me if I can make some modification of their wedding photos which I took for them in 2019. The photo was taken at SF City Hall. Since is a public place there is no way we can get a shot without other people in the frame. 

The job if I decide to accept ;) is to remove the people in their wedding photo. The tool/software I know how is the Adobe Photoshop. To be honest, I have to google online to get the tutorial on this technique first. There are few ways to do it depends on how complicated the image is. At the end, I have to combine different ways to get the picture cleaned up. Maybe someday I will do a video on YouTube explain how its done.

Check out the result, not perfect but its cleaned.

 Happy New Year 2021

Today is the first page of this 365 pages blank book, what will be in it is determined what individual put on it. Two topics, the 1/20 presidential inauguration. Trump is still trying to overturn the election results by legal maneuvering. The COVID-19 vaccine, the speed of getting people vaccinated is very slow going. Seems like its not easy to transport and store the vaccine because it requires super low temperature. I hope there is no waste of the vaccine due to the poor handling. Each person requires two injections  apart by 21 days to get to 95% effective. There has been warning about the side effects after the injection. Its normal and should go away in one or two days.
