Hey Doc

 Got my second shot of Moderna vaccine on 3/11. Officially I am fully vaccinated now. So are my old classmates. To celebrate this milestone, we had a social distancing coffee get together. We have not seen each other since the shelter-in-place started over a year ago. Looking at possible date of fully open on 6/15, Mixed feeling within us that this maybe too soon because part of the country is still have many new cases everyday. We have to give thanks to the available of vaccine and people taking the vaccine that slowed down the spreading.

Taiwan is a different case. They were very good for a whole year, total cases were only few hundreds but one little misstep the pandemic exploded. A relaxed quarantine procedure of aircrew spread the UK strain all over. Lack of available vaccine made the matter even worst. Now Taipei city is in self shelter-in-place condition. Residents are scared.

President Biden promised a 4th of July celebration for the whole country. Don't hold your breath.

 It has been over a year since I visited Monterey, CA. This morning I filled up the gas tank and headed south on 101. The drive was still familiar, nothing had changed.
