LJS - Revisited

My sister called yesterday wanted to try the food at Long John Silver's. Its not usual for her to eat anything that is out of norm, other then the Chinese food. Even that, she is particular of what she orders. My two nieces love anything other then Chinese food. They will have no problem with this restaurant. I did not want to spoil the first hand experience for my sister so I did not tell her that I have been there before. Besides, this will be a good opportunity to check and see how this restaurant is doing.
The news I heard when they first opened (11/2006) was that they have scheduled to open more restaurants in the coming months. But so far this is still the only place in the city. The obvious was that the reception to this kind of restaurant was not as warm as they expected.
The quality of the food is the same as when I last visited almost 3 month ago. The steamed vegi is replaced with pasta salad, frys became side order. The pasta salad was an improvement, better then the tasteless steamed vegi. I think its also easier to serve. Once steamed food gets cold, it just won't taste good anymore.

Tomorrow is the last day of this long Chinese New Year holiday. I was right about not travel during this holiday. News report on traffic jams and crowded vacation locations proves even more of my decision.
